The basics of colour matching don't seem to be effectively taught anymore, as many spray painters struggle with accurate colour matching. Many spray painters rely solely on their paint formulas, omitting to eye-match colours or simply not knowing how to do this, often getting caught out, resulting in paint re-work being required.
